Celeste Hood graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors of Science from the College of Agriculture. Celeste joined F. M. Hood and Associates in 2001 and has recently taken title of President after her father Malcolm Hood stepped down due to illness. She believes strongly in the work ethic of her father, and thrives on the knowledge she has gained from working along side him.
Celeste has always known the importance of being a team player. She is a supporter of business and industry in all areas. She is a member of several professional and trade organizations including Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association, and Mississippi Manufacturer's Association. She serves on the Legislative and Pipeline Committees for Mid-Continent, is the past chair of the Energy Council for LABI, and also serves on the Advisory Council for the LSU Center for Energy Studies. Celeste is looking forward to carrying on her fathers legacy and expanding F.M. Hood and Associates in new directions.
